Daniel married Lucy Kate Botting, daughter of William Botting and Lucy Cheeseman, on 21 Feb 1912 in Brighton Register Office. (Lucy Kate Botting was born on 22 Feb 1891 in Balcombe, Sussex and died on 1 Dec 1919 in Balcombe, Sussex.)
