The gravestone inscription reads: "Here lyeth the Body / ofRICHARD BOX departed---/ the---day of Jan 1752 aged 27 yrs/ alsothe body of ANN BOX wife of RICHARD BOX / 2 Sep 1753 / 56yrs.

  Noted events in his life were:

• Baptism, 11 Feb 1726-1726, Ardingly, Sussex.

Richard married Ann 2484. (Ann 2484 was born about 1697 and died on 2 Sep 1753 in Ardingly, Sussex.)
